International Rugby Experience! – Limerick City
On the 3rd of May 2023 some of the most famous faces in rugby union were in Limerick to launch the six-storey International Rugby Experience, Ireland’s newest interactive visitor experience situated in the heart of the city.

The Shannon Scheme at Ardnacrusha was the first electricity generating station operated by ESB. It was developed by the Irish government between 1925 and 1929.

Daniel O’Connell Monument – Clare
Monument to Daniel O’Connell, built 1859-67, in the form of a Roman Doric column set on a square-plan base having inset panels and surmounted with a limestone statue of a cloaked figure with raised hand facing up O’Connell Street. The statue stands on a drum decorated with a scroll of shamrocks. Set on the site of former courthouse, demolished 1852.
